The place has potential, but some of the prices are a bit ludicrous for a sports bar. I gave this place a try since it’s within walking distance of my house. The inside is nice, the service was great, and the food was alright. My only complaint is the pricing. While the happy hour and beer prices are great, they charge for refills on sodas, which I find absurd for a sports bar. Also, none of the sandwiches or burgers come with fries. If you want a chicken sandwich, you’re looking at close to $20, and that’s without fries. If this were a different type of restaurant, I’d say it is what it is. But when you market yourself as a sports bar, those prices seem a bit excessive. Overall, the place is nice, the service is great, and it definitely has potential. However, the prices on the food and non-alcoholic drinks are a bit too high for what I would expect from a sports bar.

Had a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish!!! Everything came together perfectly, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service! Yosmany and Shirley are truly amazing!! We are visiting from New Mexico and this place is worth your time!! Under new ownership so y'all come check them out!

Best bartender on Calle 8 @ Calle 8 sports bar & grill Yosmani!! Shirley the cook 🫰the best food- Cuban sandwich 😋 Drinks are fairly priced, food was super delicious and fairly priced (didn’t pay $100 for dinner and drinks) Music and atmosphere super chill, pool tables, arcade games 👌🏻 Definitely recommend and would go back again and again 🙂 New ownership!!!

Our new favorite neighborhood sports bar! The owners are so welcoming and made us feel apart of the family immediately. The food is delicious and they have the best prices for drinks in the neighborhood by far. the atmosphere is unmatched with two pool tables and multiple classic arcade games. With the juke box you can make the music whatever vibe you want for the night! You definitely won’t regret stopping in and Gigi will make you feel right at home and want to come back right away! <3

I’m torn about how to review this place. The ambiance is inviting, with a spacious, open layout that suggests they host dancing or live performances at times. We started with appetizers: meatballs served on tostones and lamb empanadas. The meatballs were decent but unremarkable, while the lamb empanadas were a highlight. The filling was rich and flavorful, though the choice of cheap, fried empanada dough felt mismatched. For mains, I ordered the Wagyu steak, which was disappointing. Having enjoyed exceptional Wagyu in Japan, I found this cut overly fatty and slightly chewy, lacking the melt in Your mouth quality I expected. A standard churrasco might have been a better choice. On the other hand, the fish dish was excellent, and the desserts were a pleasant finish. While the food was mostly decent, the pricing was a major letdown. Located in Little Havana, the cost felt exorbitant for the quality and portion sizes were easily twice what I’d expect to pay. I give it 4 stars because the food wasn’t bad, but the value just isn’t there. I won’t be returning.
